Welcome back for the 2008 season with the opening night event slated for Saturday April 26th,  We are looking forward to a great opening day run to start out our season on the right foot as we did in 2007 with 2 wins in a row. In the 2008 season you can see us compete at the historic 58th running of the 5 Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, NY. Also Mark Andrus is slated to race in 3 different divisions through out the 2008 season. Mark is coming back better and badder then ever  with his 3 time win streak at the end of 2007 in the olds cutlass figure 8 car as he shoots for the top honors in the figure 8 division. This is his 4th attempt at a championship. He lead the first 2 races of points but due to unbelieveable circustances Mark lost the lead and finished a strong 3rd place in the overall points in 2007 in the figure 8 division. This season will also see Mark back into the Pure stock division for a majority of the races when hes not driving the figure 8 car. Mark has raced in the class a couple of years back in 2002 and 2003 although with no major accoplishments he sold out and took 2 years off in 2004 and most of 2005. The main division mark is going to be focusing on is the IMCA modified division. Mark has owned cars and had a great success in ownership and now is putting forth a team to try his talent at rookie of the year honors in his first racing attempt. So keep close attention this year as the season unravels in April. We are looking forward in meeting everyone in the pits just stop by the hauler and say HI anytime.
