| The beginning...... It took sometime for the Andrus Racing Team to evolve. They purchased a car in 1999 for 600.00 dollars, and started from scratch to rebuild the forgotten treasure that sat far back in the weeds. after a few hundred dollars later they had their first dirt pure stock which later made its way to the 2000 race world car show then later was sold to pure stock driver Jerry Whitmarsh. This was the end to a different start in Mark's career in racing. Jerry had a few top 5's with the formally owned #M1 of Andrus now turned into #64 of Whitmarsh. soon after Whitmarsh blew his motor and purchased another dirt pure stock and left the decision up to Mark if he would like to buy the car back. Without a surprise it was a purchase back. The upcoming pictures will show you the transfer from the monte body which Whitmarsh drove to the new 2 door malibu body. We hope to make this season a great one from Andrus Racing Team. |
